Before watching: prepare

Study the words below. They are used in the Divine Guitars meeting.

  • sample: a small amount of something that shows you what the rest is like
  • range: a set of similar products
  • concerns: (formal) worries
  • low-end: lower in price and quality than most others
  • high-end: higher in price and quality than most others
  • outsourced: sent away to be made by people outside the company
  • wholesale price: the price a store pays to a manufacturer when it buys a large amount of goods
  • discount: a reduction in the usual price
  • minimum order: the smallest number of a product that a company will supply
  • assure: (formal) promise
  • rock bottom: the lowest possible level
  • delivery: when goods arrive at the customer
  • terms of payment: the written details about when and how a customer pays a supplier
  • upfront: in advance
  • delay: when you have to wait for something to happen
  • penalty clause: a line in a contract that says one side will pay money if they do not follow the agreement
  • draft a contract: write the first version that will change later
